PHANTOM FLAME CANDLES FROM KIM ASHWORTH

Phantom Flame Candles: A Small Introduction

Phantom Flame Candles began with a simple idea: to create candles that feel like more than just decor. Pieces that carry atmosphere. Objects that change the way a room feels the moment they’re placed in it.

Founded by Final Girl model Kim Ashworth, the brand grew out of her personal interest in mood, lighting, and visual storytelling. She was drawn to darker, quieter aesthetics—spaces that feel intentional without being overdesigned. Most candles she came across felt generic or purely decorative, lacking any real presence. Phantom Flame was created as an alternative to that.

Each piece is made with a focus on tone and atmosphere first. Some are meant to be burned, others are often kept as display pieces because of their sculptural look. There isn’t a strict rule for how they’re used. That flexibility is part of what defines the brand—candles that fit into a space however the owner chooses to experience them.

Phantom Flame doesn’t aim to be overly polished or mass-produced. It’s a small, growing collection that prioritizes feeling over volume. The goal isn’t to overwhelm with options, but to release pieces that actually hold their own presence in a room.

At its core, the brand exists in that space between decor and mood-setting object. Something quiet, slightly eerie, and intentionally different from typical home fragrance brands.

Phantom Flame Candles continues to evolve, but the focus stays the same: creating pieces that feel like they belong in a more atmospheric version of everyday life.
